Javea

Javea is surrounded by the steep coast with the Cap St. Marti and Cap de la Nao. Therefore Javea has got a big sport- and fishing harbor and a lot of small bays (coves). Especially pretty is the so called beach Playa de Arenal.

As well on the harbor as on the Playa de Arenal there is a wide selection of shops where you can go shopping and stroll along the beautiful places, and your physical comforts will also be served through many different restaurants. The historical city center starts at the harbor and passes through the picturesque alleys up the mountain.

The picturesque valley of Javea and Gata is covered with almond-, olive- and orange groves. South of the valley there is a natural border: the mountain range of Benissa's Sierra Bernia.

Javea is the perfect place to enjoy a lot of beautiful scenic views over mountains, the sea and steep coasts. It is just breath-taking.

Cala Portitxol has several little bays with senic walks all the way to Cala Ambolo.You drive down to Cala Granadella on a small, winding road in between pine trees and mountain slopes, leaving the lively Javea far behind.

Golf courses: There are two golf courses around Denia and Javea. “La Sella” near Pedreguer (18 holes) and the “Club de Golf” in Javea (9 holes). “Club de Golf Don Cayo” in Altea (9 holes) is not only a wonderful golf course, from there you will also enjoy a great view over the azur blue sea, and “Club de Golf Ifach” in Benissa/Moraira (9 holes)
