In July and August  the owners are not on site and you are completely alone on the property, if you book both apartments.

Casa La Calaga has a dream location about 50 m from the sea. At the sea, steps lead directly down to a small bathing bay with a sandy beach, where you can also snorkel. To the right is the promenade of the large La Fossa sandy beach, with many restaurants and shops; to the left, a footpath leads directly along the sea to Moraira, with several restaurants directly by the sea, to take a tasty snack and enjoy the view during small breaks. You don't need a car in La Calalga. Restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. The bus stops 100 m from the house. 

There are 2 separate appartments at your disposal. One directly by the pool, ground level, appartment 1; the second one you reach left of the house via a staircase on the 1st floor, appartment 2. The appartments are always rented to one party only. If you wish to rent only the larger, upper appartment outside the summer season, for example = appartment 2, appartment 1 by the pool remains closed.

In La Calaga, the owners, 2 persons, live themselves at the very top of the house, with a separate entrance on the parallel street opposite. They have little view down to the pool terrace. They both work and are therefore usually not in the house themselves. You will hardly see them. Children enjoying themselves in the pool or playing and having fun are very welcome. The pool is for the sole use of the guests.

We have known the owners for many years and because of this and the fantastic location, we make an exception and offer a house with a pool, where the owners themselves also live, but where you have the greatest possible privacy and can spend a wonderful holiday.

Layout of the rooms:

Sm² Floor space: approx. 80 m² Plot approx. 800 m²

From the parking and the pool you have direct access to appartment 1:

Bedrooms: 2

1 bedroom to which you have access via a sliding door from the living room. 1 wooden bed, 1,50 wide x 1,90 m long, 1 mattress, 2 bedside cabinets, wardrobe and nice wooden rack for hanging up clothes, next to it is a single bed, which can be used like a sofa, or sometimes for a midday nap. There is no door to the back - from here you go through a small living area - equipped with a small desk with chair, 1 armchair, mirror- to the shower room and further to the back into the second bedroom, also without a door.

2nd bedroom, also without door, with 2 wooden single beds, each 0.90 m wide x 1.90 m long, 1 bedside table in the middle, 1 shelf,

the passage and the 2nd bedroom have small barred windows with mosquito nets in front.

The two bedrooms have no view of each other, as the entrances are located offset across the intermediate area.

Best suited for 2 persons, or for a family with 1 - 2 children. The children can only access the living room and the outside via the large bedroom in front.

A baby cot, 1 high chair and 1 playpen can be provided.

Bathroom: 1, without window, with air extractor, shower, WC, washbasin, mirror, large shelf, a wardrobe is in front of the bathroom, electric towel rail.

Living/dining room: entrance to the appartment directly from the parking/pool area, furnished with round wooden dining table with 3 chairs and chest of drawers, above it is the A/C - it also cools the bedroom separated by a sliding door; to the left of the dining table is a large two-seater sofa and expansive armchair with footstool, coffee table, two large windows let in lots of light (one of them has bars).

Kitchen to the right of the entrance/dining room, separate but without a door. Bright with many windows, with small round table and 2 chairs and view to the garden, ideal for a small breakfast.

Covered terrace in front of the appt. entrance: wooden garden table with 2 wooden chairs and 2 plastic garden chairs.

Next to it is another covered terrace, there is a table tennis table, 2 rackets and balls are available. You can play sports there.

Due to the light breeze that cools so close to the sea, the lower appartment, with A/C in the living room, is pleasantly fresh even in the summer months.

Appartment 2 - 1st floor:

The upper appartment 2 has been completely renovated and has a modern, uniform style. The two bedrooms are opposite each other, separated only by the dining room. There is a powerful A/C in the living/dining area above the TV.

1 bedroom, with double bed, 1,50 wide x 1,90 m long, 1 mattress, 2 bedside tables, mirror, 3 arched windows (tilt and open), view to the pool, wardrobe, 1 armchair.

All windows with interior blinds for gentle darkening. Both bedrooms are equipped with electric wall radiators for heating.

Bathroom: 1 with large shower, bath, WC, washbasin with vanity unit, mirror, window with interior blinds, electric towel rail, electric wall radiator underneath.

Guest WC with WC and washbasin, behind the kitchen, in front of the bathroom. 

Large entrance hall, on the right a large window front with door leads to the south-facing balcony, straight ahead, separated with sliding door is the living/dining room, on the left it goes directly into the kitchen.

Kitchen modern, large, with window to the west side, kitchen island with ceramic induction cooker, the back part serves as a breakfast bar with 2 bistro stools, behind it the room opens to a cosy sitting area with sofa and coffee table. A small TV with German and English programmes means you won't miss anything while cooking. This room can also be reached from the living room via a small sliding door.

Living/dining room: on the right, directly behind the sliding door, there is a four-seater sofa and a very comfortable armchair, rectangular wooden coffee table. Large window front to the pool side/street side with interior blinds, to the large balcony without blinds. On the wall in front is a nice sideboard directly under the smart TV with soundbar.

In the dining area at the back of the room you can eat your meals at a rectangular wooden table with 4 white dining chairs.

Balcony: on the large balcony there is another dining area for 4 people, you can already see the sea through the palm trees.

Garden: overgrown with palm trees and fruit trees and flowering Mediterranean bushes. You have the front part at your disposal, on the right up to the washing machine, on the left up to the terrace below in front of appartment 2.

At your disposal: a small Weber charcoal barbecue, 4 garden chairs and 1 table by the pool, 8 garden loungers, 1 sunshade, 2 wooden benches.

Sun terrace by the pool, covered terrace: in front of appartment 1 (south side), with wooden table and 4 chairs, table tennis table.

2nd terrace to the left of appartment 2, south/west side, with wooden table and 4 chairs.

Pool size: kidney-shaped, approx. 8 m long, front approx. 2 m wide, back approx. 4 m wide, depth: approx. 1.30 - 1.80 m, with Roman steps as entrance. Simple outdoor shower next to the pool on the house wall. 

Car/parking: Parking on the enclosed property, for 2 medium-sized cars, 

Parking outside the property, a small car can park directly in front of the entrance gate.

Appartment 1:

Kitchen: 4 ring gas hob, extractor bonnet, electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker, coffee capsule machine, toaster, electric kettle, iron/board. NO dishwasher.

The washing machine for both appartments is outside, to the right of the house.

Smart-TV, 55 inch, SAT-TV with English and German channels.

A/C in living/dining area - cools and heats.

Heating Living room with A/C, area between the two bedrooms with wall radiator, bathroom with electric towel rail.

2 wooden garden tables with 2 wooden chairs and 6 plastic garden chairs. Weber charcoal barbecue.

Appartment 2:

Kitchen: electric hob, 3 ring induction hob, oven, fridge with 3 drawer freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, coffee capsule machine, toaster, electric kettle.

Washing machine for both appartments on the right behind appartment 1, iron/board.

Smart-TV 55 inch, with the regular English, German and Spanish channels. Via fibre optic internet connection you can receive all your streaming services.

A/C in the living/dining area, which also cools the two bedrooms comfortably.

The fireplace behind the kitchen can NOT be used. Both bedrooms and the bathroom are equipped with electric wall radiators. The sunny living area can be heated with the A/C.

All windows in both flats are double glazed.

Casa La Calalga is situated in a residential area with detached houses, apartment buildings and hotels. 

To the beach: Bathing bay "La Calalga" sandy beach approx. 50 m away, in summer there is a lifeguard on site.

Sandy beach La Fossa is about 650 m away.

The beach promenade La Fossa starts approx.250 m away, with many restaurants and shops.

Footpath along the sea to Moraira: Start at the sea approx. 250 m to the left.

Marina approx. 2 km away, where the beautiful promenade also begins in Cala El Raco, which half-circles the Penon de Ifach and offers fantastic views to Benidorm and the hinterland.

Salt lake, Las Salinas, with flamingos: approx. 1.5 km 

Centre/old town of Calpe: approx. 3.4 km

2 restaurants walking distance only 190 m and lots of other restaurants in the surrounding area and on the beach promenade la Fossa.

Supermarket Mercadona approx. 500 m , supermarket Consum approx. 600 m. away.

 Bus connections: 

The bus of Beniconnect stops about 50 m in front of the house at GaleteMar, this bus goes to the airport of Alicante. https://www.beniconnect.com/ . The Calpe city bus stops about 100 m from the house on the beach path and takes you to Calpe train station. Ideal for trips to Altea, Benidorm or Alicante.

    Wir ware in Casa Calalga in Calpe sehr gut untergebracht und die Betreuung von Herrn Marc Füderer war ebenfalls sehr gut. Hatten leider kein gutes Meerwasser dafür aber einen schönen Pool direkt vor der Tür den wir auch voll genutzt haben.
    Viele Grüße aus dem Saarland

      Danke für Ihren Gästebucheintrag. Wie schön, dass Sie das Haus und den Pool genossen haben. Was meinen Sie mit, dass Sie kein gutes Meerwasser hatten? Die Strände von Calpe werden in der Regel gut sauber gehalten und das Wasser war dieses Jahr sogar wärmer als sonst.

      Hallo Herr Muth, vielen Dank, wir freuen uns alle sehr. So nah am Meer und in der Nähe des schönen Sandstrandes in Calpe, das findet man nicht oft. Wir würden uns alle freuen, Sie auch im Sommer 2025 wieder zu begrüßen.

    Das war unser erster Urlaub in Spanien und in einem Ferienhaus.
    Uns hat es sehr gefallen, wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder!
