The cozy Casa Nija is located in the residential area Maryvilla on the mountain. This offers a wonderful view from the property to the sea in Calpe all the way to the Cap d'Or in Moraira and far beyond the mountainous hinterland of the Costa Blanca. At night, the twinkling lights of Calpe spread out in front of you. Especially from the upper living room, you can also enjoy this beautiful view while playing cards with your children, or you let your view wander while you relax with your favorite drink and nice conversation.
The private pool is heatable with electric heat pump and cover (day/night current) - so that nothing stands in the way of your bathing fun in spring and autumn, also. Since 2021, there is also a whirlpool on the pool terrace for even more fun and relaxation.
Casa Nija is constantly being improved for even more relaxation on holiday. Next to each appartment there is now a private terrace and since 2022 a summer kitchen with dishwasher, fridge and gas cooker is at your disposal on the pool level.

From the street level with the carport a staircase leads down to the large, upper apartment with 2 bedrooms and with the pleasant, shady grill terrace right next to it. The stairs lead further down to the smaller, lower one-bedroom apartment and from there you reach the large pool, the sun terrace with the comfortable lounge-sofas, and also have the beautiful view.
 
All 3 bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, both kitchens are equipped with washing machines, the upper apartment also with dishwasher, and the good Wi-Fi you receive also down at the pool - all for a great holiday. Especially when traveling with family and friends. So everyone has their private area.
You are always alone on the property, even if you book only the upper apartment. The lower apartment will remain closed.

Upstairs in the living room is a fireplace with firebox and an electric radiator for cooler evenings, also the air condition heats. Otherwise, the central heating (oil) ensures your well-being.

Layout of the rooms:

Floor space: total about 122 m² above and below, plot about 800 m².

The house will only be let to one party. You are always alone on the property.

Apartment above:

Bedrooms: 2
1 bedroom with double bed,  box spring bed, 2 mattresses each 0.90 x 2 m, but a large topper over the mattresses. 2 bedside cabinets with lamps, chest of drawers, fitted wardrobe, view of the mountain, and 40 inch TV.

1 bedroom with 2 single beds, each 0.90m wide x 1.90m long, 1 bedside table with lamp, fitted wardrobe, garden view (to the sea side). Both bedrooms each have a window, with grille, with anti-mosquito screen and exterior blinds. 1 small corridor connects the two bedrooms and the bathroom. Travel cot for children up to 4 years available.

Bathrooms: 1, separate, bath/shower over with shower curtain, washbasin, toilet, mirror cabinet, small, heated towel rail, washing machine, window with external blinds and anti-mosquito screen.

Living / dining room: generous, from here you enter the upper apartment, with a wide window front towards the sea. View to Moraira all the way to the Cap d'Oro and to the mountains, upholstery two-seater sofa at the wall and 1 armchair with foot stool, and two-seater upholstery sofa at the window, round glass table with 4 chairs - with cushions, 1 wicker armchair with cushions.

Towards the kitchen, dining area with rectangular table and 6 wooden chairs with cushions. 2021: where you see the large sideboard with dishes is now the kitchen counter.

Kitchen
: completely new in 2021 - American, with counter to dining area, pantry cupboard, window.Sun terrace: by the pool, with sea and mountain views, and comfortable lounge-sofa, as well as fridge/freezer.

further terrace: right above the upper apartment with a built barbecue, small porch swing, and garden table with 6 chairs. Very sheltered, looking down to the pool.

Private pool - heatable: pool size: 10 x 4m kidney-shaped, depth: approx. 1.10m up to 1.70m with Roman stairs as entry, fesh water pool treated with salt instead of chlorine, with interior lighting, with built outdoor shower. Heatable with heat pump (day and night current) and cover. Since 2021, you will also have access to a whirlpool on the pool terrace, with space for 6 people. You can book this separately for a one-off fee of € 60. If booked, it is cleaned and chlorinated before each guest's arrival.
Summer kitchen, pool level - new in 2022:
Equipped with : gas cooker, dish washer, sink, fridge, charcoal grill, garden table and 6 chairs.


Garden: in terraces with Mediterranean plants.

Carport open to dead end. Also parking outside the property on the dead end/cul de sac.

Apartment below:

Bedroom: 1 bedroom with double bed,  box spring bed, 2 mattresses each 0.90 x 2 m, but a large topper over the mattresses. 2 bedside tables with lamps, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers. A window, with grille, with anti-mosquito screen and exterior blinds, mountain views.

Bathroom: 1, with shower with shower curtain, wash basin, toilet, mirror cabinet, small radiator.

Living / dining room: from here you enter the lower apartment. Two-seater upholstered sofa, 2 rattan armchairs, side table; round dining table with 4 chairs in front of the window with sea view, narrow cabinet with glass doors, shelf, chest of drawers. Another door leads via a staircase also to the pool terrace.

Kitchen
: separate, with arched passage, no door, fully equipped, window with grille.
New 2021: Terrace also next to the lower appartment.

The house is built on the hillside and stairs lead from the property entrance at the top on street level down to the pool.

Upper apartment: hob with 3 gas rings and 1 electric ring, with electric oven, dishwasher, large fridge with large freezer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, washing machine in the bathroom, iron / ironing board. 2 Flat screen satellite TVs, 42 and 40 inch large / Astra 1 mainly German channels, with some French and English channels, portable speaker for mobile phone can be connected through Bluetooth. Safe.

Lower apartment: with ceramic hob with 4 rings and electric oven, large fridge/freezer, coffee machine, washing machine, 42 inch flat screen TV-SAT Astra 1 mainly German channels.

Air conditioning in all 3 bedrooms, both cool and warm, fireplace with firebox in the upper living room, central heating in all rooms. Additionally 1 electric radiator for cool evenings.

Built-in barbecue, dishwasher, fridge and sink in the summer kitchen, 8 garden chairs and 1 large table, 6 sun loungers, 2 umbrellas, lounge-sofa at the pool terrace.

Environment

Quiet location in the residential area of Maryvilla, situated in a dead end road. 2 restaurants in about 2,2 km distance (one Maryvilla offers breakfast rolls to take away), the other -Tenis Oscar - rents tennis courts also to non-members, 1 hotel restaurant down in the about 3 km distant Puerto Blanco bay with sandy beach. The small bay Les Urques is about 2.5 km away, stairs lead down to the beach.

In Calpe center are many shops, many supermarkets (also Lidl and German bakery), cafes and restaurants; on Saturday a big weekly market takes place were clothes, flowers and fruits and vegetables are sold. The two large sandy beaches of Calpe with beautiful promenade and partly ancient ruins are easily accessible via the main road. Altea with its beautiful old town, many restaurants and shops is about 10 km away.

    Leider war unser Aufenthalt in diesem Haus nicht so schön wie andere Urlaube.
    Die Heizung ist in dieser Jahreszeit, zumal bei eher schlechtem Wetter etwas schwach. Im März lagen das Haus und die Terrasse noch im Schatten, und sollte unserer Meinung nach frühestens ab April vermietet werden. Erwähnen möchten wir noch, dass wir für Strom und Heizung 300 Euro bezahlt haben!
    Auch war der Innenraum der Mikrowelle nicht sauber. Das Bad ist nicht gefliest, sondern mit einer Kunststofftapete tapeziert. U.E. ein No go.
    Auf jeden Fall haben wir die Casa Nija sauberer verlassen als wir sie angetroffen haben...
    Nachdem wir bisher mit Sunnyholidaysvillas immer gute Erfahrungen gemacht haben, ist unsere Enttäuschung natürlich umso grösser!

      Hallo Herr und Frau Klein, danke für das konstruktive Telefonat gestern. Die Eigentümer, die Hausbetreuung und wir haben mehrfach telefoniert, da uns ihre Unzufriedenheit sehr betroffen gemacht hat.
      Wie immer möchten wir jedoch darum bitten, Probleme gleich während des Aufenthalts anzusprechen, dann kann die Mikrowelle sofort gereinigt werden und die Heizung überprüft werden. Es gibt zusätzlich auch noch die Klimaanlagen, die Heizen, und den Kamin oben im Wohnbereich. So dass Sie es schön warm haben können. Das Wetter in den ersten 3 Märzwochen war ungewöhnlich lange bewölkt und verregnet und an der Küste hier ist ein anderer Baustil, der nicht auf lange Kälteperioden ausgelegt ist. Die Kunststofftapete für Feuchträume, oben im Bad entspricht dem Geschmack der Eigentümer und sie lässt sich leicht und gut reinigen. Auch der Hausbetreuung tut es leid, wenn sie bei der Reinigung etwas übersehen haben, haben Sie laut Vertrag das Recht, dass nachgeputzt wird.
      Die Eltern der Eigentümer sind jetzt im Haus und werden die Heizung und die komplette Technik überprüfen. Wir sind auch überein gekommen, das Haus nur nach Ostern bis zur 1. Oktoberwoche zu vermieten, trotz beheizbarem Pool und Whirlpool. Nochmals danke von uns allen für Ihr Feedback. Wir hoffen dass Ihr nächster Urlaub wieder wunderschön wird.

    Casa Nija en Calpe.
    Belle location dans un endroit tranquille de Calpe.
    Superbe vue panoramique sur toute la Baie et le rocher Penon de Ifach.
    Belle piscine et terrasse.
    Maison a "flanc de montagne" escalier extérieur pour se rendre à la piscine et appartement inférieur. Attention aux enfants en bas age. Sinon tout est très bien.
    Je recommande.
