Casa Santiago del Mar is about 50 m air line away from the sea and offers you a picturesque sea view - see our video below this text.

On the ride side of the house a little walking trail runs along the cliffs with an extraordinary view to the massif of the Penon de Ifach and the beach of Calpe.

The mediterranean garden all around the house unfolds its own charm.

At the cul-de-sac road the carport is located, open towards the road. From the street level stairs lead down to the house-level. Left of the house entrance is a nice, shaded dining area below a large palm tree, the kitchen only a few steps away. In the house all rooms are on one level.  The kitchen can be entered from the entrance hall and another door leads from the kitchen directly to the dining area in the generous living room with sea view.

A door opens from the living room onto the roofed terrace, closed on three sides - open towards the sea side. Here you can enjoy your meals with a view of the Penon de Ifach or listen to the waves.
Through a stairway you reach the roof terrace with a marvelous far sea view.
The pool and the pool terrace are situated on the lowest property level, surrounded by the garden and a  "pine tree terrace" from where you also have a nice view towards the sea.

The small hidden bay, "Cala Les Urques" is only approx. 500 m. distant. To the sandy beach at the Puerto Blanco bay with it's small harbour it's about 1,3 km. 

Two good, old-established restaurants and the tennis courts you reach comfortably on foot, after about 400 m.

Layout of the rooms:

property approx. 1.400 sqm, living space about 150 sqm.

3 bedrooms:  all three bedrooms with twin beds, which can be pushed together; each mattress 0,90 wide x 1,90 long, two-door fitted wardrobes, small desk of drawers, alle 3 windows with anti-mosquito screens.  1 bedroom with A/C and en-suite bathroom, overlooking the garden and pool; 2 sea-facing bedrooms with A/C and ceiling fan, windows shaded by the covered terrace in front.

2 baths: one en-Suite with bath, and shower head, with shower curtain, toilet, washbasin, small closet, washing machine. One separate with shower, toilet, washbasin, small closet.

Large entrance hall, to the right is the kitchen, to the left the 3 bedrooms and the two baths, straight ahead into the living/dining room. 

Separate kitchen:  fully fitted, one door leads to the hall, the second door to the dining area.

Living / dining room: white three- and twoseater leather sofas with coffee table, dining table with 6 chairs with cushions, behind it entrance to the kitchen, 3 windows, 2 of them towards the sea. Exit to the covered terrace.

Second dining area at the covered terrace with sea view, open only to one side towards the sea, morning sun, wonderful view in direction towards the massif of the Penon de Ifach, from here you walk up to the roof terrace with wide view, furnished with a small garden table and two chairs; where you enter the covered terrace a small part is completely glazed-in, from here you can also access the pool area below.

Small covered terrace directly at the house entrance, next to it a nice seating place below a large palm tree, equipped with garden table and chairs, afternoon sun, protected from view.

Garden: around the house with palm trees and nicely planted with mediterranean plants, on both sides of the house stairs are leading down to the pool area. From street level stairs bring you down to the house entrance.

Sun terrace:  at the pool, next to it a pine tree terrace with nice sea view.

Pool:  size 5 x 10 m., depth approx. 1,20 m. x 2 m, with simple outside shower, with comfortable wide ladder, no interior pool illumination, but at the terrace around it.

Carport up in the cul de sac road, open towards the road.


Equipment:

Ceramic hob with 4 rings, with oven, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer, electric coffee machine, Senseo pod coffee machine, toaster, washing machine, iron and ironing board, electric kettle, flatscreen TV, SAT-TV Astra 1, mainly German channels, some French channels, English news channels, radio, CD-player with Ipod/movil connection. Gas kettle grill, Outdoor Chef brand, large rectangular garden table and 6 chairs new in 2021 under palm tree in front of kitchen, 6 garden loungers, 2 parasols.

A/C in all 3 bedrooms and living room, ceiling fans in the 2 smaller bedrooms facing the covered balcony. The fireplace in the living room is not usable.

The 3 bedroom windows have mosquito blinds, the 2 bathrooms have put mosquito nets. All windows with grille. Extra grille-doors at the house- and terrace doors.  Blinds at the living room and bedroom windows.

Internet Wifi flatrate, download speed approx. 6 MB/sec. - with wifi amplifiers in the house for all rooms and veranda.

Environment

Quiet residential area in a cul de sac road, 2 restaurants in about 500 m. distance (one Maryvilla offers breakfast rolls to go), the other Tenis Oscar - is renting tennis courts also to Non-members; 1 Hotel restaurant in the approx. 800 m. distant Puerto Blanca Bay with sandy beach. To the right of the house a small way leads alongside the coastline, there is also a climbing rock. About 800 m. distant from the house stairs lead down into a small bay Les Urques with beach. 

In Calpe center there are a lot of supermarkets, shops, cafes and restaurants, on Saturdays a large market is held with vegetables, flowers and clothing. The two large, sandy beaches of Calpe with a pretty promenade and antik ruins are easy to reach from the main street.

    Inzwischen sind wir mit der Familie zum vierten Mal im September Gast in diesem wunderschönen Anwesen Casa Santiago del Mar, in Maryvilla, Calpe gewesen und immer wieder aufs Neue begeistert: Das Haus ist sehr schön, geschmackvoll sowie funktional eingerichtet und dekoriert, die Ausstattung ist super und das gesamte Anwesen inklusive Terrassen, Garten und Pool sehr sauber und gepflegt.
    Jedes Mal wieder sind wir hingerissen von der Lage und dem einzigartigen Blick, der sich uns von den wunderbaren Terrassen auf das Meer und den Penyal D'Ifac bietet und jederzeit und bei allen Lichtverhältnissen fantastisch ist. Schwimmen vor dem Frühstück, chillen am Pool und die Möglichkeit einer Abkühlung zu jeder Tageszeit tragen dazu bei, sich hier rundum wohlzufühlen. Die Küchenausstattung ist super und alle Mahlzeiten können auf den Terrassen genossen werden. Nach Ausflügen an den Strand, ins Hinterland oder dem Besuch von Altea, Calpe und Valencia schätzen wir es immer wieder, in dieses Refugium zurückzukehren und hier zu entspannen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!"

    Wir haben das Haus zu sechst (2 Familien) bewohnt und hatten eine tolle Zeit in Ihrem wunderschönen Haus mit Pool - Casa Santiago del Mar - in Calpe .

    Die Lage dieses Ferienhauses mit dem Ausblick ist einfach unglaublich und traumhaft. Es bietet wirklich alles, was man für einen tollen Urlaub braucht.

    Drei Schlafzimmer mit zwei Bädern, einfach perfekt für zwei Familien. Das Haus, Pool und Garten sind sehr gepflegt, es fehlte uns an nichts.
    Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es war einer der besten Urlaube seit langer Zeit.

    Vielen Dank auch an Birgit, die uns freundlich empfangen und verabschiedet hat.

    Bonsoir Madame Erdman,
    Nous avons séjourné à la Casa Santiago Del Mare du 30/06/2018 au 14/07/2018. Nous avons passé 2 semaines très agréables. La villa se situe sur les hauteurs de Calpe avec une très belle vue sur la mer et endroit très calme. Malgré la chaleur de la période, la proximité de la mer permet d'avoir de l'air. La villa est très bien conçue, fonctionnelle et spacieuse. Les deux salles de bains sont très appréciables. Les alentours de la maison sont composés de nombreux parterres bien fleuris, arbres fruitiers, plantes, etc ... Une grande piscine pour se rafraîchir. Plusieurs terrasses ombragées en fonction de l'heure de la journée. Eclairage extérieur le soir et car-port permettant de maintenir le véhicule à l'ombre.
    Très belles vacances. Voiture indispensable.
    Très bon contact pour la location, réaction rapide et professionnelle.
    Location à recommander.

    What a magical villa set in a wonderful place of beauty. The view from the terrace to Calpe and the massif Ifach is sincerely stunning. My wife and 3 children have so enjoyed the great comfortable facilities. The pool is really fun and relaxing.
    We have enjoyed days by the pool and evenings swimming in the Calpe beaches, snorkelling at Cala Roca and the lovely promenades and restaurants of Calpe. We had a gorgeous meal at Maryvilla Restaurant and enjoyed the bread and pastries from the Kiosk. We thank you for providing a wonderful setting for a great holiday. Thanks also to Birgit, the caretaker for all her help.

    Casa Santiago del Mar, Calpe
    Wir verbrachten 2 Wochen im September in der Casa Santiago del Mar in Calpe, eine sehr schöne Villa mit traumhaften Meerblick.
    Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben.
    Ich möchte mich auch nochmal herzlich bei Frau Erdmann bedanken für die Hilfe bei der NIE-Nummer und der Fischerlizenz.
    Ebenso vielen lieben Dank an unsere Hausbetreuerin Birgitt, wir haben uns sehr gefreut als unser vergessenes Ladekabel per Post zu uns zurück geschickt wurde!
    In meinem Bekanntenkreis habe ich SunnyholidaysVillas gleich weiterempfohlen, und gerne werde ich hier wieder einen Urlaub buchen!!
