The charming Villa Al Andaluz is located halfway between the towns of Moraira and Calpe, only 700 metres as the crow flies from the sea. Ideal if you travel with a large family or friends and everyone values their privacy.
The two beautiful sandy beaches Cala de la Fustera and Cala Pinets can be reached on foot from the accommodation in only 10 minutes. By car you reach the small, rock-fringed bathing bay Cala Pinets with a small sandy beach and idyllic rock terrace after about 1.3 km. The popular and somewhat larger bathing bay Cala de la Fustera with a sandy beach, toilets and a small restaurant is approx. 1.4 km away from the house by car. The two bays are connected by an idyllic hiking trail, which continues south to Calpe.

Smaller restaurants and a supermarket (ALGI) can be found in approx. 1 km distance at the main road, which leads along the sea (Avenida de la Marina).

Villa Al Andaluz is located on an almost flat plot of 1.042 sqm in a very quiet residential area at the end of a dead end street. Only to the pool and to the apartment below a few wide stairs lead down.  A beautifully laid out garden that has grown over many decades is characterised by lush vegetation and southern fruit trees such as lemons, oranges, pomegranates and avocados; as well as various seating areas with Andalusian elements (arches, lamps, fountains).  From the kitchen a door leads to a Moorish-style covered dining area for 8-10 people, which is equipped with outdoor lighting, fan and electricity. Adjacent is a barbecue table. Here you can prepare delicious meals and end the evenings in a relaxed holiday atmosphere.

With the exception of the gated entrance area, the entire property and the pool area are almost not visible from the outside and are surrounded by a wall.

The main house has 190 m², which are distributed on 2 levels. On the ground floor there is a large living-dining area with a wide semi-circular window front, which offers impressive views of the Sierra Bernia and the Olta massif. In the living area there is a large, round dining area for 8-10 people, various sofas and seating areas, as well as a TV corner. From a spacious hallway on the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with walk-in shower and the kitchen. Inside the house a curved staircase leads to the two upper bedrooms with the spacious bathroom with walk-in shower in between. Both bedrooms have access to a large balcony which has room for a table, but also sun beds. On this balcony you can enjoy the sun all day long and look out over the sea and the Penon de Ifach.

The 2upper bedrooms area is ideal for a couple with a smaller child, as access to the smaller bedroom is only possible through the master bedroom.

Between the pool and the garage there is a 30 m² apartment. This can be booked optionally. The apartment consists of a living room with sofa and coffee table, with adjoining kitchenette with stove and refrigerator, a bedroom with double bed (140 x 200 cm) and a private bathroom with walk-in shower. Bedroom, living room and kitchen have a window to the pool. As the apartment is situated a little lower and has smaller windows, it is not as bright as in the main house, but it is pleasantly cool in summer.

Qm living space: approx. 190 main house, approx. 35 sqm small apartment downstairs.    Property approx. 1.042 sqm

On the ground floor: 1 double bedroom, 1.50 wide x 2m long, 1 mattress, 2 bedside tables, 1 cupboard, 1 secretary, large built-in wardrobe, window with grille, with outside blind and anti-mosquito blinds. 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, each 0.90 m wide x 1.95 m long, large built-in wardrobe, 2 bedside cabinets, window with grille, with outside blind and anti-mosquito blinds. Both bedrooms with portable fan.

Upstairs: 1 double bedroom, four-poster bed 1.80m wide x 2m long, 2 mattresses, 2 bedside tables, chest of drawers, 1 cupboard with drawers and one side to hang up, 1-door built-in wardrobe, 2 floor windows out onto the balcony. Not barred, 1 side with anti-mosquito net, air conditioning, bathroom en suite. 1 single bedroom, bed 0,90 wide x 1,80m long, mirror, wardrobe in the corridor in front, door to the balcony. Window with outside blind and anti-mosquito blinds, air conditioning.

This single bedroom can only be reached via the large bedroom and the bathroom located between the two rooms. Both bedrooms have a French door out onto the balcony. Suitable for parents and child.

Bathroom: 2, downstairs bathroom with walk-in shower, WC, bidet, washbasin with base cabinet, large white cupboard, electric towel rail for heating. Windows with anti-mosquito blinds and grille.
Upstairs, bathroom with large shower, WC, bidet, washbasin with mirror, window with anti-mosquito blinds.  Heating: portable electric heater.

Large entrance corridor, on the right with niche with clothes rail. From the hallway you go right to the kitchen, straight on to the living room, left to the bathroom and the two bedrooms.

Living/dining room: spacious angled area with a round wooden dining table and 8 chairs, large wooden/glass showcase and a wine rack. To the left of it a two-seater sofa, rectangular coffee table and flat screen TV. Separated by round arches, the living area faces the pool side, equipped with 2 two-seater sofas and an upholstered sofa and a coffee table. There are white, opaque roller blinds on the living room windows. View to the Sierra Bernia in Benissa and the massif of the Olta in Calpe. Separate door to the garden. 

Kitchen: separate, fully equipped, high bar table with 2 bar chairs, a second door leads out to the barbecue terrace, window with bars.

Sun terrace: at the pool, hardly visible

Covered terrace: behind the kitchen, with beautiful Andalusian decorated walls and windows, closed on 2 sides, open to the barbecue area, with large table and 8 chairs. Towards the pool there is another open pavilion with a round table and 4 chairs.  Balcony: in front of the upper 2 bedrooms, with view to the sea and the Penon de Ifach, with 2 awnings and round table with 2 chairs.  

Pool: kidney-shaped, 10m long, at the stairs 3m wide, at the back 5m wide, depth: about 1,20m to 2m, with roman stairs and with outside shower (cold) with interior lighting.

Garden: around the house, lushly planted with large old palm trees, rubber tree, fig tree, olive tree, apricot tree, citrus fruits, medlar trees, bougainvillea.

Car/Parking:  Garage for 1 car, and parking on the property for 2 cars.

At the entrance american kitchen, next to it a living room with two-seater sofa (sofa bed for 1 person) and small coffee table, window with anti-mosquito blinds and grille.

1 bathroom with walk-in shower, WC, washbasin with mirror cabinet, electric towel rail for heating.

Ceramic hob with 4 hotplates, with oven, extractor hood, refrigerator with 3 drawers freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, sink. Washing machine and dryer in the garage, iron/ironing board.  

SAT-TV German/Astra 1, TV flat screen 50 inch (130 diagonal).   Barbecue area in front of the covered terrace with barbecue table and paella gas ring and paella pans; 14 garden chairs and 3 tables, 9 garden loungers, 1 parasol.

Air conditioning upstairs in 2 bedrooms. The fireplace in the dining room must not be used

The apartment is to be heated with an oil central heating. The main house is also to be heated with oil central heating, with the exception of the bedrooms and the bathroom on the 1st floor, but here there is air conditioning with heating function in both bedrooms. Through the sunny balcony and the large floor windows the sun warms these two rooms pleasantly. The bathroom upstairs is equipped with an electric radiator.

Environment

Quiet residential area, in an dead end. The Villa Al Andaluz is located halfway between the towns of Moraira and Calpe in the coastal strip of Benissa. The house is about 700 m as the crow flies from the sea. The two beautiful sandy beaches, Cala de la Fustera and Cala Pinets of Benissa can be easily reached on foot. You cross the street Parador, which leads down to the main road from Calpe to Moraira; there is an immediate footpath with stone steps down to both beaches: left to Pinet and right to Fustera.  This is the shortest and most beautiful footpath to the two coves and it is only about 700m and 800m from the house.  By car you reach the small, rock-fringed bathing bay Cala Pinets with a small sandy beach and idyllic rock terrace after approx. 1.3 km. Also about 1.4 km from the house is the popular and somewhat larger bathing bay Cala de la Fustera with a sandy beach, toilets and a small restaurant. Both bays are connected by an idyllic hiking trail, which leads to the other side to Calpe.

Calpe, Cala Les Bassetes is about 2,5 km away with diving school, catamaran and kayaks, as well as 2 restaurants built directly into the rocks at the sea. Playa de la Fossa, big sandy beach, about 4,5 km away.

Smaller restaurants and a supermarket (ALGI) can be found about 1 km away on the main road along the sea (Avenida de la Marina).  Calpe to the big Mercadona supermarket about 4 km, Aldi and Lidl about 6 km.

In Calpe centre there are many shops, many supermarkets, cafes and restaurants; on Saturday there is a big weekly market where you can buy clothes, flowers, fruits and vegetables. The two large sandy beaches of Calpe with a beautiful promenade and partly ancient ruins are easy to reach via the main road. Altea with its beautiful old town, many restaurants and shops is about 14 km away.

    Hallo Fr. Erdman,
    das Haus, Villa Al Andaluz in Benissa, war wie die Beschreibung es aussagt.
    Schön gelegen, innen und außen sauber, Aussicht zum Meer vom Balkon perfekt.
    Für Hunde super geeignet da ein kleiner Wald zum Gassi gehen direkt nebenan
    ist.
    Würden das Haus jederzeit im September/Oktober wieder buchen.

    Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub in der Villa Al Andaluz in Benissa im August und September. Das einzigste was uns noch fehlt, wäre eine Klimaanlage im Erdgeschoss. Die Betreuung durch Vicky möchten wir besonders hervorheben. Wir freuen uns schon auf nächstes Jahr.

      Liebe Familie Jäger, wir freuen uns, Sie in 2022 wieder in der Villa begrüßen zu dürfen. Ihren Hinweis mit der Klimaanlage haben wir an den Eigentümer weitergeleitet. Er hat Anfang Juli 21 vor allen Wohnzimmerfenstern bereits Markisen anbringen lassen.

    La estancia en Villa al andaluz ha sido muy buena, la casa muy bonita y completa, la persona de contacto fue encantadora. Lo malo la cantidad de mosquitos que había, por lo demás muy bien.

    Hemos pasado unos días estupendos en la Villa Al-Andaluz, seis adultos y tres niños. El entorno inmejorable, la piscina muy espaciosa y cómoda, el jardín precioso y muy cuidado, la barbacoa excelente, las vistas increíbles. La casa muy grande, estaba perfectamente equipada; a la cocina no le faltaba de nada.
    Como aspectos mejorables, la wifi muy débil y la falta de aire acondicionado en la planta baja. Los ventiladores se agradecen pero no es lo mismo.
    Destacar también la buena atención y gestión de Sunnyholidays Villas, muy profesionales. Esperamos volver.

      Muchas gracias por su entrada. No hay nada mejor para todos nosotros que huéspedes satisfechos.
      El dueño hará un nuevo contrato de wifi con una mejor velocidad. Compró la casa sólo en marzo de 2020 y le gustaría hacer algunas mejoras. Desafortunadamente no ha podido venir a su casa desde entonces por culpa de Covid-19.
      No puede prometer que el aire acondicionado venga en el piso de abajo.
      Estaremos encantados de volver a recibirle en el 2021.
